Lancashire Marine Electrical Services are based in the beautiful Pendle countryside close to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. From here we cover the Lancashire and West Yorkshire canal networks, the coastal marinas of Morecambe Bay and the River Ribble and the stunning Lake District.
I am a keen sailor with many thousands of miles sailed in the Irish Sea, Biscay and the Atlantic, as well as more tranquil times on the canals. As such I fully understand how important it is for your equipment to be able to withstand the harsh marine environment. I am a time served electrical engineer with HND's in electronics and telecommunications and a lifetime of experience and learning. All work is carried out to at least BSS standards.
Working closely with Altham Marine Services and using their well equipped workshops, based alongside the Leeds and Liverpool canal, means we can provide secure yard storage and moorings, if required, whilst your boat is being worked upon as well as full dealership services for your engine.
We are an Adverc accredited installer/dealer and as such can offer great deals on the full range of Adverc battery management units, which now carry a full 5 year warranty. An Adverc module controls the alternator and battery sensing, and results in an almost 100% state of charge compared with 60-70% using standard alternator regulation. Charging is faster without unduly stressing the alternator or batteries. See the services menu for more details
